emily and me went to the cabin on memorial day weekend and become: MEMORY HUNTERS. i know it is kind of lame when we could be playing cards, crushing my bother in ping-pong, or dancing with pay and Mia. but we did it anyway. i felt so grateful to all my family for letting me come to a cabin with all my family. i realized that i should thank them every day for the world i live in and how many memories i love not only at the cabin every where in every time and place. here are just a few things that emmy and me discovered:
bunk room: the time cat, emmy, and i stayed up all night talking, the time we played with the boys and hid under the beds, and the time we slept with emmy, bay, and me in the Queen bed together.
up by the ping-pong table: when the girls sent down the basket, when we played ping-pong for hours, and when we slept under the ping-pong table.
the beam room: pay and i hid in the closet, when we were too scared to sleep under the beam, and when i read all night in that bed.
the hobo room: when pay and i told scary stories (not too scary), when we found Logan's B in the closet, and when we played with the little bunny in he nightstand.
living room: when we watched countless movies, when we watch elk cross the river, and when we played with the plastic animals.
kitchen: when we had pancakes for bareakfast, when we ate brownies, and when we colored at the table.
outside: when we played a game cat made up with her friends, when we watched the fireworks, and when we made s'mores on the fire pit, and when we take a million rides on the four-wheelers.
i am soo grateful for the country and world i live in. i challenge you to think of at least some of your blessings.
It's wonderful that you recognize all your many blessings. I'm blessed to have a sweet granddaughter like you.

And play games....and eat treats...and watch movies...and float the river...and go on hikes...and see animals...and how many stars there are there...and and and more and more!!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad that you love the cabin, what a nice thing to remember all your favorite things about the cabin. You had wonderful memories about each room of the cabin and outdoors. My favorite thing at the cabin is having the whole family there together. That is my favorite memory. I love you Hannah Banna, it is a wonderful thing to have a grateful heart.
