I'm loving 6th grade!! The homework is fairly easy, all my teachers are nice, and I love my class! I ride the bus home with Tessa and Alexis. They are super nice and funny. I love reading! We are reading a book called "The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle".
I also love writing. I just finished a short story about a boy that turns into a vampire. Fun and easy to write! Science is really easy! Music is simple and fun. School is fun, I guess because I do so well. I am doing a biography on Sacagawea. It is very interesting. The part I find incredible is that she was treated so differently. Her husband considered her his property. He was very unfair to her. He traded several of her few dresses without her permission. Lewis and Clark on the other hand respected her and treated her like a real person. Sacagawea had her baby boy on the trip. She was only 16. I am learning a lot about her and I love it!
It does sound like you are doing well in school. When you get good grades, it makes it more fun to go to school. I used to ride the bus to and from school when I was your age. I didn't mind. It was kind of relaxing after a long day at school. Sounds like you have some good friends to travel with.
