today is luke's birthday. we went to the zoo. i saw TONS of stuff. there were lions, tigers, and bears. zebras, giraffes, rheas, birds(lots of them), and wallabies. booj, mom, and i rode the carosel. i rode the elephant and booj rode the giraffe a first but it did not bounce uup and down so he moved to the zebra. (mom just stood next to booj. we did saw the butterfly exibit and two landed on my pants!! (they are BRIGHT yellow) and NINE landed on mom. (she wore a light bright blue shirt; i know that does not really make sense but ya) then we went to the store to get baloons for the cemetary. i got a monkey baloon, sam got a finger that says your #1, mom got one that say "baby boy", ben got one that is a red star, and booj got one that says happy birthday and got dad got a statue of mickey mouse.

P.P.S. you have to ask mom about the sad story of booj and my baloons.
I like the tradition you have celebrating Luke's birthday. It sounds like a very nice day. I like the balloons that you release. I wonder if Booj did not want his balloon to get away? Did he want to keep it?

ReplyDeleteI got a bit behind in reading your blog. Sorry. I'm glad you bought balloons in memory of your little brother. I just recently put a memorial statue in my garden to remember Luke and Piper. I can't wait for you to see it next time you visit. Love you.
